Behind the Design

After the seven-year journey from ideation to release, the Vapor represents a new era in innovation. Designers wanted to truly capture the feeling of "running on " so they started by restructuring the unit so they could attach it directly to the upper. Then their focus was on using the efficiently. As you step down, each lug gets pushed into the unit, ramping up the pressure. Then, as you step off, the pressure releases creating springy bounce with superior flexibility. Made for runners, the futuristic technology was quickly adopted by the street, bringing light-as- flexibility to the masses.
